Megan Salinas, PA-C
I am a board-certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) specializing in psychiatry. I was born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley (RGV), and it is a true honor for me to provide healthcare services in my hometown.
My journey into healthcare began at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV), where I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2019. This foundational education fueled my passion and inspired me to pursue a career in medicine. Building on this, I pursued further studies and completed my Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) at UTRGV in 2023.
As a board-certified physician assistant specializing in psychiatry, I am deeply committed to staying at the forefront of advancements in psychiatric medicine. I continuously seek opportunities to expand my knowledge and skill set, ensuring that I can offer my patients the highest standard of care possible. I am driven by a genuine desire to help alleviate the burden of mental illness and promote mental well-being in my community.
Beyond my professional pursuits, I find joy in a variety of hobbies that include spending time with my cat, cooking, and bird watching.
